I had been meaning to share this for a while but kept forgetting to do so. On my ”blogroll” to the left I have included a link to a creative and funny blog called Stuff White People Like. I found it a few months ago and have followed it since then, enjoying many a laugh. I encourage everyone to check out the “list of stuff white people like” and enjoy the creativity behind his stereotyping. I know I am guilty of most.
Anyway, one of the recent posts on his growing list was book deals. This was his way of sharing that Random House had in fact awarded him with a book deal and that we should expect a hard cover textbook on white people sometime in August. So let this be a lesson to the Lazlos and Sladeds out there that these kinds of things do happen! In case you are not inclined I will end on a quote from the author of this blog, which I think people of any background can agree with:
“Also worth noting: white people like having their dreams come true when they least expected it.”

I get a real kick out of the White People list, especially that white people like assists. Very funny and very true. You have great links on your site. You need to come up with some funny posts too.

This comment may get me banned from your blog but… yesterday while I was riding the bike at the gym I was watching the O’Reiley Factor (the Celtics were losing badly on ESPN and the Mets were killing whoever they were playing on ESPN2) and he briefly brought up the What White People Like site and the book deal.
I am envious as I had hoped (with absolutely no plan whatsoever) to strike it rich with my pulltabchain website. Alas, the website (with it’s terribly designed home page)is no longer there. I can’t seem to contact the owner of the service and my site was taken down. It’s ashame too, because I think I was really close to making it big!

No banning here, this is a “ban-free” zone! As always, the punishment for watching Bill O’Reilly is….having to watch Bill O’Reilly.
You can’t give up hope yet, all you need is to get the word out there and get the pulltabchain back. I will be standing by ready to advertise when it is up and running again!
BTW, what did he have to say about the site?

He obviously was ready to pounce on the “anti-white” aspect that could have been there but since he learned it was all just good fun, he moved on to whatever was next.
